Mouse clicks not working properly?
Many Logitech mice develop clicking problems over time. Common issues include:
- Single click registering as a double click
- Clicks not registering at all
- Inconsistent or “spongy” click feeling
In most cases, this problem is not software-related, but caused by a worn-out micro switch inside the mouse. This is a very common issue, especially with popular Logitech models.
Professional micro switch replacement
I offer a professional repair service where the faulty mouse micro switch is replaced with a new, high‑quality switch.
What I do:
- Open the mouse carefully without cosmetic damage
- Desolder the faulty micro switch
- Install a new, reliable replacement switch
- Test click consistency and responsiveness
- Replace mouse skates
After replacement, the mouse usually feels as good as new, often even better than when it was originally manufactured.

Why repair instead of replace?
- ✅ Much cheaper than buying a new mouse
- ✅ Extends the life of high‑end or favorite models
- ✅ Environmentally friendly (less e‑waste)
- ✅ Keeps your familiar mouse shape and feel
Many Logitech mice are mechanically excellent; the micro switch is simply a known weak point.
